OMEROS

Published in 1990, Omeros is Saint Lucian writer Derek Walcott's epic poem that explores the Caribbean human experience as he reimagines Homer's Iliad and Odyssey with Achille and Hector as local fisherman in St Lucia. It's beautiful.
